Turkey and duck meat shipments total US$ 165 million in 2024

Brazilian exports of turkey and duck meat - two high value-added meat segments - ended 2024 with distinct movements in the flow of shipments, according to surveys by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). In the case of turkey meat, total exports reached 64.1 thousand tons in the twelve months of 2024, a volume 8.1% lower than in 2023, with 69.8 thousand tons. Revenue from shipments reached US$ 153.9 million, a balance 23.4% lower than in 2023, with US$ 201 million.
