From January to October 2020, Ukraine experienced a significant increase in mollusk exports, with a total of 1,500 tons, which is a 52.3% increase compared to the same period in 2019. The export value for the first ten months reached $4 million, marking a 27.8% increase from the previous year. The main importers of Ukrainian mollusks were Turkey, Lithuania, and Spain, accounting for 51.2%, 42.4%, and 3.5% of the exports, respectively. Additionally, the article mentions the initiation of snail caviar production in the Kyiv region.
