Turkey is looking for apple suppliers from Ukraine and Moldova

In Turkey, there is a dynamic increase in the prices of export-quality apples, as local suppliers cannot satisfy all requests from potential customers, EastFruit analysts report. Wholesale prices for the Red Delicious apple variety, which is actively exported to the Indian market, already reach $0.9 per kg. Prices for an export-quality "Golden Delicious" apple rose to $0.75 per kg. For comparison, the prices for an apple of the "Golden Delicious" variety in Ukraine and Moldova are on average 45% lower.
