In 2024, Turkey meat production in Russia saw a 3.8% increase, reaching 438 thousand tons, with the turkey industry growing at a rate nearly twice the average for poultry farming at 2.1%. The top five largest turkey meat producers accounted for almost 85% of the total output. Domestic production of hatching eggs reached 34.5 million pieces, increasing self-sufficiency from 55 to 66%. Exports of turkey products increased by 8% to 27.7 thousand tons, with the largest recipients being China, Congo, and Benin.
