In April, sunflower imports to Turkey jumped 3 times compared to the same month of 2024 to 243,000 tons, according to experts from the authoritative German market analysis and forecasting company Oil World, cited by the electronic publication APK-Inform. They specify that Romania delivered 90,000 tons, Bulgaria – 89,000 tons, and Moldova – 59,000 tons. In the first 4 months of the year, sunflower imports to Turkey increased nearly 3.8 times compared to the same period last year to 639,000 tons. Romania increased deliveries by 215% to 291,000 tons, Moldova – over 4 times to 227,000 tons, and Bulgaria – over 10 times to 112,000 tons.
