The Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association has reported a notable increase in anchovy exports, with a total of 2,717 tons exported to 20 countries over 11 months, generating revenue of $13,548,674, which is a 10% increase in quantity and 11% increase in value compared to the previous year. France, Belgium, and the USA were the top three importers of Turkish anchovies, accounting for a significant portion of the total exports. The demand for anchovies, both in whole form and processed, in the international market is expected to drive further growth in exports, signaling a positive outlook for the future of this sector.
