Turkey has seen a 9% increase in pasta exports, reaching $659 million in the first nine months of 2024, and is now the world's second-largest pasta exporter. The country exported to 155 countries, with Somalia and Venezuela being the top two importers. There is potential for pasta exports to exceed $1 billion in 2025. The top five countries importing Turkish pasta were Somalia, Venezuela, Ghana, Japan, and the United States, with Japan's imports increasing by 33%.
