Turkey has seen a 14.65% increase in chili pepper exports in the first nine months of this year, reaching a value of 9.884 million dollars from 92 countries. The highest recipients of these exports were Germany, the USA, and the UK. The total export value of chili pepper last year was 12.226 million dollars. The Şanlıurfa Chamber of Commerce Assembly President, İsa Kızıldemir, expressed optimism about the future of these exports, particularly with the introduction of new pepper flake products. Kızıldemir also emphasized the need for support for farmers to prevent them from being negatively impacted by low prices.
