Ukrainian importers have turned to Turkey for increased food supplies due to restrictions on the Polish border, with Turkish products now occupying almost 40% of the market. Tetyana Popovych, from the wholesale market of agricultural products "Shuvar," explained that the demand for Turkish goods has increased by 15-18% compared to last year, especially for citrus fruits, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and eggplants. Despite delays and higher prices, market operators are also continuing to import European goods from Italy and Spain, showing adaptability to changing conditions and preventing shortages in the market.
