Turkey's flour exports have surged by over 60% in the past decade, reaching around $1.5 billion annually, with the potential to increase to 20 million tons by 2023. The Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation plans to export 4 million tons of flour in 2024, aiming to bring $2 billion of foreign currency to the country by 2028. The federation also intends to boost wheat production using artificial intelligence. The Ukraine-Russia grain corridor has boosted Turkey's exports, with Iraq, Syria, and Somalia being the top three countries for flour exports. Other significant markets include Djibouti, Venezuela, Sudan, Yemen, Sri Lanka, Ghana, and Palestine.
