Turkey's dried apricot exports for the 2023/24 season reached 399 million dollars for 66,832 tons, with the average export price increasing by 10.5% to 5,967 dollars per ton. Despite a 17% decrease in quantity, the decrease in foreign exchange earnings was limited to 8%. The United States was the top importer of Turkish dried apricots, with a demand of 63.6 million dollars. The TURQUALITY Project, conducted by the Aegean Exporters' Association in the USA, increased exports to the US market. The Southeastern Anatolia Exporters Association and Mediterranean Exporters' Associations also contributed significantly to the exports.
