The Department of Agriculture of the Generalitat has reported the detection of 13 new cases of African swine fever in the province of Barcelona, two of them outside the "zero zone", the 6-kilometer radius from the first infected wild boar. Specifically, these two wild boars that tested positive were located in a housing development in Molins de Rei (Barcelona), so the area is expanded to the municipalities in the high-risk zone: there are now 14 localities. With the new 13 cases, there are now 155 infected wild boars located in Catalonia since the disease appeared in the municipality of Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona) at the end of last November.
