Mexico: Beef cattle management module inaugurated that will benefit more than 1,500 ranchers

The Government, through the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, inaugurated a modern management module for the genetic core of cattle, which will improve the quality of beef and milk, for the benefit of more than 1,500 producers in the Ucayali region. The activity was led by Minister Ángel Manero, who indicated that “Inauguration of this genetic nucleus will allow for a greater supply of meat; both for the regional and national market, and in some years for export. We have to develop genetic improvement, that is why what brings us together today is very important. The implementation of this modern infrastructure will contribute to providing livestock with the necessary conditions to face tropical climates, reduce mortality levels of slaughter animals and increase the robustness and health of cattle.
