Russia: Udmurtia increased exports of dairy and some types of meat products by 2.6 times

In the first quarter of 2024, Udmurtia experienced a significant boost in its agricultural exports, witnessing a 2.6-fold increase in the export of dairy and certain meat products compared to the same period in 2023. The region successfully exported 1.3 thousand tons of dairy products to several countries including China, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Bangladesh, and Georgia, and 120 tons of animal products such as skins, lard, and pork cheeks to Mongolia. Additionally, a notable shipment of 50 tons of dry whey was approved for export to China following inspection, marking a positive development in Udmurtia's international trade relations.
