Ukraine already exports more pork than it imports from abroad

Ukraine has a positive foreign trade balance of chilled and frozen pork, which amounts to almost $1.4 million. The pace of external supplies of pork has been exceeding the pace of its inflow from abroad for six months now - reports the Latifundist portal, based on information from the industry Association "Winemakers of Ukraine". The data shows that the total import of pork in 11 months of this year amounted to 2.15 thousand tons. In the fall, only less than 193 tons of chilled and frozen pork were imported to Ukraine. Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, three times more pork has been exported than in the entire previous year - a total of about 3 thousand tons. Analysts predict that in the full year the export volume will reach the level of 2021, i.e. before the war, when 3.8 thousand tons of pork were sold abroad. ...
