Ukraine and Poland are ready to expand agricultural trade

Ukraine and Poland are preparing to expand agricultural cooperation and strengthen trade relations. In Warsaw, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, discussed with his Polish counterpart, Czesław Sekerski, the continuity of Ukrainian agricultural exports, the adaptation of legislation to EU standards, and the expansion of markets. Koval emphasized that Ukraine and Poland have common goals – victory in the war, good neighborly relations, and economic development. An important step in achieving these goals is effective cooperation between Ukrainian agricultural producers and the European Union. He expressed hope that Poland can become a leader in ensuring the continuity and predictability of trade conditions between Ukraine and the EU after the end of the Autonomous Trade Preferences (“visa-free trade”) on June 5.
