According to EastFruit analysts, last week wholesale quantities of new crop onions from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan began arriving in Ukraine. In these countries, the new crop of onions began to be harvested more than a month ago, so now there is already a sufficient supply of high-quality products adapted for such long transportation. An increase in the supply of onions from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan on the Ukrainian market led to the fact that supply prices in the quality onion segment began to decline closer to the weekend.
