Ukraine's import of live poultry increased by 15.6% in the first 11 months of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, reaching a total of 3.7 thousand tons. The monetary value of this import also rose by 34.7%, totaling $65.2 million. Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Germany were the top suppliers of live poultry to Ukraine during this period, while there was no export of live poultry in 2023, similar to the previous year. Additionally, there was an 8.9% decrease in the number of eggs laid for incubation by enterprises in 2022 compared to the year before.
