Between July 1, 2023, and January 14, 2024, Ukraine exported almost 1.4 million tons of vegetable oils to the EU, marking a 23% increase from the previous agricultural year. Specifically, sunflower oil exports to the EU increased by 23%, while rapeseed oil shipments doubled and soybean oil exports fell by 5%. In addition, there was a significant overall decline in oilseeds sales, with sunflower, rapeseed, and soybean exports all decreasing.
