In September, Ukraine exported just 61 thousand tons of corn, with a decline of 8.6 times compared to the same month in 2024, according to data from the country's Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. This is the weakest monthly result for corn since autumn 2021. Grain exports from Ukraine in September fell by a third to 2.1 million tons, and in the first 3 months (July-September) of the current agricultural season, they fell by over 36% to 6.5 million tons. Wheat exports decreased by 21% to 1.83 million tons in September. However, barley exports increased by 4% to 238 thousand tons.
