Ukraine has completed its sowing for 82%

As of October 28, 2025, Ukrainian agrarians have sown 5,348.9 thousand hectares of winter crops, which constitutes 82% of the projected areas. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. Sown: Among the leaders in sowing grain crops are the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kirovohrad regions. The Poltava, Ternopil, and Chernihiv regions have already completed sowing. Winter rapeseed has been sown on 1,045.4 thousand hectares. The largest areas are in the Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Agrarians from 14 regions have completed sowing winter rapeseed. It should be noted that the sowing campaign for winter crops in Ukraine is coming to an end, which took place under the conditions of war challenges and adverse weather.
