Ukraine has doubled its imports of sausages

In 2020, Ukraine imported 4.7 thousand tons of sausages, which is twice as much as in the previous year, and 12 times more than five years ago (400 tons). This was reported by the association "Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business". It is noted that the main suppliers of meat and sausage products to Ukraine are European countries. Moreover, if in physical terms Poland is definitely in the lead (3.4 thousand tons, or 73%), then in terms of value the first place is occupied by Spain (43%). This indicates the import from Spain of a delicious group of sausages, which is famous for this country. At the same time, despite the growth of imports, the share of imported sausages in the total supply on the Ukrainian market remains insignificant - about 1.4%.
