In 2020, despite the pandemic, Ukraine maintained high positions in the global rankings of exporters of certain agri-food products and took the leading position in terms of exports of meal and cake, millet, barley, honey, rapeseed, and other agricultural products. The country also became the leader in sunflower oil exports, with foreign sales reaching a record 6860 thousand tons. Ukraine also increased its sales of meal and cake, millet, and honey, becoming the second largest exporter of barley, honey, and rapeseed. However, the export of fresh or chilled peas in 2020 continued to decline, resulting in Ukraine dropping from second to third. The country also continued to occupy a place in the top ten of the world market for many other products.
