In the first half of 2021, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export of cucumbers and gherkins, with a two.4 fold increase to 3.6 thousand tons, valued at $ 13.5 million, a 2.3 times increase from the same period in the previous year. The majority of these exports were to Poland and Estonia. Additionally, Ukraine's import of cucumbers also rose by 16.4% to 12 thousand tons, with the largest suppliers being Turkey, Belarus, and Sweden. Overall, Ukraine's exports of frozen vegetables have doubled.
