Ukraine has managed to increase flax exports to France.

Ukraine has been increasing its flax exports for the fourth consecutive month amid active demand from EU countries, and in October, the export volume reached 7,650 tons, which is 1,580 tons more than in September. This is reported by APK-Inform. The main buyers of the crop have become France (43.1%), Poland (16.8%), and Italy (11.4%). The increase in supplies began in July, with the active phase of crop harvesting. Then, exports amounted to 1,370 tons, and in August, 3,300 tons. Along with the growth in flax supply, there is a decrease in prices: the maximum demand prices at the ports of Ukraine fell by 800 UAH/ton over the month and, as of November 6, usually do not exceed 28,500 UAH/ton SRT-port.
