In 2020, Ukraine experienced a significant decrease in fruit and vegetable exports to Singapore, with notable drops in apple, blueberry, and walnut exports. Despite these declines, Ukraine ranked 16th in apple exports and saw increased competition with countries like Serbia. Meanwhile, the Singapore market witnessed a surge in apple imports from traditional suppliers like China and new entrants such as New Zealand and the United States. Blueberry imports also grew by 20%, with the United States, Chile, and Peru as the leading suppliers, alongside unexpected suppliers like China, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
