Ukraine increased beef exports by 11% in January-November 2023

In January-November 2023, Ukraine increased revenue from the export of cattle and beef by almost 11% compared to last year's period. In terms of fresh and beef supplies, there is a trend of increase, but the export of cattle by live weight, on the contrary, has decreased, - reports the analyst of the Association of Milk Producers, Georgy Kukhaleishvili. According to preliminary data of the DSSU, Ukraine exported 583 tons of live weight cattle in November, which is 20% less compared to October of this year. The revenue for delivered animals amounted to USD 816,000. and decreased by 20% compared to the previous month. Last month, cows were bought in Ukraine only by customers from Lebanon, who reduced the volume of purchases.
