Ukraine increased ice cream exports by 11% in November

In November 2023, Ukraine reduced the volume of exports of almost all types of dairy products, with the exception of ice cream. Also, the volume of milk imports decreased last month. An increase in imports was observed only for butter. The possible reasons for the decrease in foreign trade in dairy products are logistical problems due to the war and the increase in the consumption of dairy products within the country, says the analyst of the Association of Milk Producers, Georgy Kukhaleishvili. According to preliminary data of the DSSU, in November 2023, Ukraine exported 7.33 thousand tons of dairy products worth 14.32 million dollars. Compared to October of the current year, the natural volumes of exports decreased by 13%, and the monetary income decreased by 5%.
