During the initial two months of 2024, Ukraine saw a significant increase in its poultry imports, with a total of 633 tons of live poultry being imported, marking a 10.7% rise from the previous year. The financial value of these imports also surged by 28.7%, reaching $11.2 million. Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic emerged as the leading suppliers, solidifying Ukraine's status as one of the European Union's largest importers of day-old chickens.
