Ukraine increased supplies of sunflower oil to the EU by almost a third

Since the beginning of July, Ukraine has increased the import of sunflower oil into the European Union (EU) to almost 680,000 tons. This data was provided by the European Commission. This is more than 30 percent more than in the same period last year. Thanks to this, Nezalezhnaya was able to raise its position in the list of the largest exporters of this product to the bloc countries. The share of its presence in the EU increased over the year from 88.6 to 93 percent (previously 520,217 in exact figures). This figure was made possible thanks to sustainable oil production. This, in turn, was facilitated by the successful operation of oil extraction plants during the year, as well as the preservation of their capacity, despite the military situation in the country. Data were also provided for two more exporters - Serbia, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina. They delivered many times less - 33,788 and 6,409 tons (shares of 4.6 and 0.9%).
