Specialists of the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection of Ukraine and the General Customs Administration of the People’s Republic of China held an online meeting with the participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in China, during which they discussed the opening of markets for the export of Ukrainian products of plant and animal origin to China. This was reported by the press service of the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection of Ukraine. Particular attention was paid to the coordination of veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements for wheat flour, poultry meat and pet food, which is a key condition for access of these products to the Chinese market. The parties also considered the implementation of the provisions of the previously signed agreement on the opening of the Chinese market for the export of wild-caught aquatic bioresources.
