The Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club has reported that domestic pasta will make up 66% of the market in 2021, while 34% will be imported products. Despite a decrease in pasta production over the past five years, Ukraine is still expected to produce around 67.7 thousand tons in 2021. However, imports are on the rise, with an expected total of 49.1 thousand tons in 2021. Italy makes up half of these imports, followed by Turkey, Poland, Latvia, and China. Ukraine also exports pasta, with estimates predicting 5.4 thousand tons in 2021, the main buyers being Venezuela, Moldova, Lithuania, Togo, and Latvia.
