Ukraine is the second largest supplier of honey to the EU

At the same time, EU countries also exported honey worth €146 million (almost 25,000 tons). Compared to 2013, honey imports from outside the EU increased by 20%, and exports by 14%. Britain became the leader in the import of honey from the EU — 4.3 thousand tons (17%). Saudi Arabia (14%), Switzerland (13%), USA (13%) and Japan (10%) are followed by a small margin.
