On October 22 in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, the next meeting of the General Directorate AGRI of the European Commission took place within the framework of the European Food Security Crisis Preparedness and Response Mechanism (EFSCM). The purpose of the event is to enhance coordination between the public and private sectors, assess risks, and exchange solutions in the event of food crises. In particular, against the backdrop of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, which has become a challenge for the global food system. Representatives from 27 EU member states, 14 EFSCM partners, including Ukraine, and international experts participated in the meeting.
