In the 2020/21 season, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables to Poland, with revenue from fruit exports reaching a record $ 78.5 million, making Poland the primary market for Ukrainian fruit. This represents a 45% increase in revenue compared to the previous season and a 3.4-fold increase over the past five years. The exports to Poland included a variety of fruits and vegetables, with a third of the value being frozen Ukrainian raspberries. Additionally, there was a 5.2-fold increase in the export of walnuts to Poland, making it the second most revenue-generating product in the fruit and vegetable trade. Experts predict this positive trend will continue into the 2021/22 season.
