Prices for unpackaged chicken eggs in Ukraine have seen a decrease of 5.2%, from UAH 60.85 to UAH 57.68 per dozen, over the past two weeks. Despite this, there is no reported shortage and the supply is said to be sufficient to meet consumer demand. This price fluctuation is attributed to various market factors including production costs and seasonal demand. In March 2025, egg production reached 962 million pieces, marking a significant increase from the previous months. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food in Ukraine is monitoring the situation to ensure a balance between producers and consumers.
