During the first eight months of 2024, Ukraine saw a significant decrease in imports of lard, pork fat, and poultry fat, with volumes being 46.3% lower than the same period in 2023. The monetary value of these imports also decreased by 35.8% compared to the previous year, amounting to $11.3 million. The primary countries exporting these commodities to Ukraine were Poland, accounting for 51.4% of the total, Spain with 20.8%, and Germany contributing 11.8%.
