The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine announced a shipment of 23,027.5 tons of corn to Mozambique and Malawi under the Grain from Ukraine program. The corn, along with other products, will be distributed by the World Food Program to vulnerable populations in these countries, supporting around 200,000 people in Mozambique and 900,000 people in Malawi for three months. The shipment was funded by donations from Sweden, the Netherlands, France, South Korea, and Portugal. The Grain from Ukraine program is a humanitarian initiative where participating countries directly purchase agricultural products from Ukrainian producers.
