As of November 15, Ukraine has successfully sown 1 million hectares of rapeseed and 4.4 million hectares of winter cereals for the 2023 harvest, with wheat, barley, and rye making up 92%, 89%, and 92% of the sown area, respectively. The sowing of winter grain crops is nearly completed, with 92% of the forecast achieved. Some regions have even surpassed their forecasted area, especially in the Kyiv region. All regions have completed the sowing of winter rapeseed, surpassing the forecast by 4%.
