The Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO) has allocated quota to Ukraine for catching sea bass and cod for the year 2025. The country has been assigned a quota of 150 tons for sea bass and 19.14 tons for cod. Additionally, the organization has set up industrial quotas for other fish species that can be caught using the Olympic principle, meaning they are not allocated to national quotas. Interested businesses can apply to the State Fisheries Agency to fish in the northwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean until December 30, 2024.
