This was stated in a comment to "Komersant Ukrainian" by Yana Kavushevska, the head of the National Association of Sugar Producers "Ukrtsukor." The production statistics of sugar factories are deteriorating. "As of 10.11.2025, 100 thousand tons less sugar has been produced than on the same date last year. That is, this is an interim result, which currently does not indicate anything. In total, we expect that production will amount to 1.5-1.6 million tons of sugar, which is 300 thousand tons less than last year's figure," she explained. Kavuschevska noted that there will be enough sugar both to meet domestic needs and for export.
