The Ukrainian rapeseed market is showing a noticeable revival. Exporters are rushing to complete the formation of batches, and processing plants have accelerated purchases amid the rising prices of vegetable oils. Over the past week, rapeseed prices at the Black Sea ports have increased by an average of $5/t and are now fluctuating between $545–550/t (or 24,000–25,000 UAH/t). This was reported by the Electronic Grain Exchange of Ukraine. Processors are currently offering 24,000–24,500 UAH/t for rapeseed with delivery to the plant, but they are not willing to pay more as the cost of rapeseed oil in the EU has stabilized at 1,050–1,060 €/t. Analysts note that only in January 2026, Ukraine exported over 230,000 t of rapeseed (including oil exports) from its domestic balance. Current estimated stocks in the country are around 600,000 t.
