Ukrainian farmers will be provided with corn seeds for spring sowing

As part of the AGRI-Ukraine initiative, the US government will provide free of charge Dekalb brand corn seeds from the Bayer company for spring sowing in 2024 to Ukrainian agricultural producers from 10 regions. Through the USAID AGRO Program and with the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, a total of 15,756 sowing units of seeds will be given to farmers. Each participant will be able to receive up to 25 sowing units per farm, which will be enough to sow 25 hectares. Aid will be provided to farmers in the frontline and affected areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. To receive seeds, farmers need to register in the State Agrarian Register in the "Available Programs" section - USAID AGRO corn seeds Dekalb, 2024. Applications will be accepted until April 21.
