From July 25, new uniform requirements for chocolate, chocolate products, and cocoa products will be implemented in EAEU countries. These requirements state that milk chocolate must contain at least 25% cocoa solids and 12% milk solids, animal fats are not allowed except for milk, and flavors that mimic chocolate or cocoa are prohibited. The technical regulation will ensure consistency in chocolate production across all five EAEU countries, promoting a unified and high-quality chocolate market.
