The State Turkish Grain Board purchased the planned 18,000 tons of unrefined sunflower oil at an auction, reported the online edition APK-Inform, citing its sources among market participants. The winner of the auction is the company Aves, which will supply 12,000 tons for $1,336.50 per ton C&F and another 6,000 tons for $1,344 per ton C&F. For comparison – at the previous auction for unrefined sunflower oil held in Turkey 5 weeks ago, 18,000 tons were again purchased, but at prices between $1,253.80 and $1,256 per ton C&F. Delivery of the oil to the ports of Tekirdağ and İskenderun or Mersin must be made between November 3 and November 28.
