September pork exports to Central America experienced a significant increase, with a 36% rise from the previous year, reaching 12,895 mt. The total value of these exports was $41.9 million, marking a 42% increase from last year. The US Meat Export Federation reported that the region's pork exports are on a record pace in 2024, with a 23% increase in shipments, totaling 109,634 mt, and a 33% increase in value, reaching $344 million, through September.
