In 2024, U.S. raspberry production surged by 27% to 82.1 million kilos, attributed to an expanded harvested area and higher yields, according to the USDA. The production was divided into 43.5 million kilos for the fresh market and 38.3 million for processing, generating a total value of $475 million, up by 26% from the previous year. However, international supply issues, notably a shortage of 90/10 IQF raspberries from Serbia and Mexico, have led to increased prices, highlighting the importance of domestic production stability.
