The Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) released on Monday (13) an update to the list of products potentially affected by the executive order issued on July 30, 2025, by the United States government, which imposed additional tariffs on Brazilian exports. The new table replaces the annex of Joint Ordinance MDIC/MF No. 4, of September 11, 2025, and modifies 211 NCM codes of the Common External Tariff (CET). According to the MDIC, "101 codes were included, 75 were excluded, and 35 were adjusted" among the products subject to the additional tariffs. The changes represent 2.01% of the total 10,504 codes of the CET, resulting in 9,803 NCM codes currently subject to the extra charge applied exclusively to Brazil.
