The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is aiding Uzbekistan's agricultural sector by assisting local horticultural exporters in their negotiations with American importers. This was demonstrated at the World Agricultural Expo in Tulare, California, where three Uzbek companies successfully engaged in discussions with potential U.S. partners, resulting in a significant export deal worth over $1 million. This event marks a crucial step towards establishing a stronger agricultural trade relationship between the U.S. and Uzbekistan, tapping into the potential of Uzbekistan's 27% GDP and 25% workforce contribution through agriculture.
