Goiás advances in strengthening the actions for prevention and control of bovine brucellosis. In 2025, the coverage against the disease reached 79.89% of animals at vaccination age in the State, the best result of the last five years. The data were compiled by the Animal Health Management from the declarations made by producers in the Goiás Agricultural Defense System (Sidago). The president of Agrodefesa, José Ricardo Caixeta Ramos, highlights that the progress is the result of the continuous effort of the Agency in partnership with rural producers. “This result reflects the permanent monitoring carried out by Agrodefesa and the commitment of the producers with animal health.
